Power (Open) Events

Our SAVL Power Level events are designed to bring quality competition for the top teams in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and the rest of the southeast.  

Pools will consist of 3 or 4 teams.  5 matches will be guaranteed (if 2 day event).  

Come play against some of the best teams in the southeast.  

Important Information regarding SAVL Events.

All SAVL tournaments can be registered for by going to AES

Admissions Cost for SAVL Events.  Due to increased expenses (Covid-19 related), the SAVL is increasing gate fees for the first time since our inception.  We will provide hand sanitizer and sanitizing stations, temperature checks, sanitized match balls, etc as we deal with our health crisis.  We are still committed to having siblings (anyone under the age of 18) attend free of cost!  For more specifics on our new spectator policies, refer to the SAVL home page.

  • SAVL 2-day events: $10/day, 15/weekend.  Under 18 free.
  • SAVL 1-day events:  $10.  Under 18 free.  
  • SAVL Championships: $20 for weekend pass, $10 per day. Under 18 free.

2021 SAVL Challenge Series

NEW - 5 Event Series for teams looking for 1-day lower cost, smaller crowd tournament options.  3-team pools as often as possible.  3 or 4 leveled matches in a single day - then home.  

January 9, January 23, February 20, March 13, April 10.

New single day events.  Quality competition.  No overnight stay required.  Start times:  10am.  Finished by 6pm.   Great way to "get in and get out" without spending too much time/money.

The 2021 Dixie Classic is a JVA insured and supported power and club event open to teams of any affiliation.  Over 200 teams in 2019.  Some of the best teams in three of the nicest facilities in the Southeast.  Stay closer to home and be safe.

This culminating championship event will be hosted by SAVL member club Upward Stars.  League participation requirements must be satisfied in order to compete.

One of the best ways to prepare for AAUs and USAV Nationals.   Over 165 teams participating in 2019.  Hosted by Grand Strand Juniors in Myrtle Beach.   

Gate: $10 day/$15 weekend

Important Team Requirements and Sanctions (Pre-Covid 19)

In order to participate in the SAVL Championships, teams must meet the minimum requirement through attendance during the season.   Reach out with questions.

Late tournament Team Withdrawals: 

We will make sure we stay committed to being very fair as it relates to refunds due to the Corona virus.  Last year, we refunded 100% of entry fees.  


Pre-Corona virus policy:  WITHDRAW: Teams MUST notify us for any change or withdrawal AND receive an email back from us confirming this ( your protection from sanction or fine). If withdrawal is inside deadlines, fine and/or sanctions will be imposed and must be paid prior to club participating in any future events.  Most one day tournaments have deadlines 3 weeks out- multi day begin 6 weeks out.
Out of Region Teams:  The above fines/sanctions will apply.  Teams who fail to adhere, the region will sanction the club to prevent any future region tournament participation.
